TALENTED SOUTH AFRICAN SET FOR WEEK OF F4 TESTING AND RACING IN CALIFORNIA

After a short off-season, Zach Fourie is eager to pilot the #1 JENSEN F4 race car for a week of testing and racing at Buttonwillow Raceway, which is a road course circuit located an hour north of Los Angeles, California.

Zach made his professional racing debut competing in the Ligier JS F4 season finale at the Austin F1 circuit in November 2024. While naturally quick, Zach will benefit substantially from his extensive winter development program in advance of competing full-time in the 2025 Ligier JS F4 Championship.

Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, 16 year old Zach currently lives in Rabat, Morocco located on the northwestern tip of the African continent. While the long travel distance is a challenge, the many successes of F4 US and Formula Regional Americas drivers graduating to race in the top level IndyCar Championship clearly makes Zach's American development path a wise decision.

JENSEN team owner and driver coach Eric Jensen said, "It was clear from my first day working with Zach that he is an extremely gifted race car driver. It's a treat to have the opportunity to help Zach at such a critical moment in his development as he chases his dream to become a professional race car driver."

Ligier JSF4 Championship is an entry level American junior open-wheel race series ideal for the development of promising young race car drivers. 2025 championship comprises six race events at circuits across the United States with the season opener at NOLA Motorsports Park located in New Orleans in late March.

As part of Zach's pre-season development program, Zach will make four race starts driving the #! JENSEN F4 car. First up are two races at Buttonwillow Raceway competing in the SCCA Majors event in late January. Zach will return to California to make two additional races competing at Sonoma Raceway near San Francisco, where he will compete in Round One of the the F4 West Coast Championship.
