HENRY KING'S RACE CAR DRIVER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TAKES BIG STEP WITH FLORIDA RACE DEBUT
Dubai based British driver Henry King made his race car competition debut driving the #3 JENSEN Formula 4 race car in the South East Formula Series event at Sebring International Raceway on the weekend October 10-12.
Despite his young age, Henry made consistently good decisions on a challenging race weekend with a mix of wet and dry conditions. In the Sunday finale, Henry scored his first podium with an impressive drive including making his first race overtake with a crafty move under hard braking.

Henry is from England, but now lives full-time in Dubai. Henry began his race car driver development program in July 2025 by participating in a JENSEN Racing Camp program, then made a follow up test at the Buttonwillow circuit near Los Angeles in the week leading up to making his Sebring Florida race debut.
JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen commented, "Henry is an exciting young talent., He is a proven race winner in high-level karting competition, and his natural speed and consistency is allowing him to quickly adapt to driving formula cars."
With a clear objective to achieve his dream of racing in the Formula One World Championship, Henry is already well advanced among his karting peers now that he is competing in Formula 4 race cars. There are several series in the USA where 12 and 13 year olds are permitted to compete, and despite the long travel distance Henry will continue his young driver development path testing and racing in the USA.

South East Formula Series is a USA regional championship, where the 2025 / 2026 winter season will feature races at two famous Florida circuits, Sebring Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.
JENSEN also competes in the Formula PRO USA championship with multiple young drivers competing in the team's Formula 4 and Formula 3 race cars. The California series features six race weekends at circuits including Sonoma Raceway and Laguna Seca,, both located nearby to San Francisco. JENSEN drivers have enjoyed great success during the 2025 season including Robert Arana winning at the F4 level, and John O'Donnell winning at the F3 level.

Formula 4 is the entry level junior open-wheel race category on the FIA development ladder system intended to identify and train future drivers to compete in the Formula One World Championship. JENSEN owns four Ligier JS F4 pro spec race cars, and there are multiple championships across the USA that are terrific for new drivers to learn how to optimize their driving techniques and to gain competition experience.
