Robert Arana Podiums On F4 Race Debut

SAN ANTONIO TEEN ROBERT ARANA MAKES BIG IMPRESSION IN CALIFORNIA F4 RACE DEBUT

 

Robert Arana made his race debut competing at Sonoma Raceway located near San Francisco California on the last weekend of August. An accomplished kart racer, Robert set consistently blistering quick lap times en route to scoring a 2nd place podium result driving the #3 JENSEN F4 race car.

Robert has been testing with the JENSEN F4 Championship Team since spring 2025 as part of his long-term race car driver development program. Robert showed that he was clearly ready to begin competing, and he will carry the positive momentum from his debut race weekend as he joins the Formula Pro USA grid for round four of the 2025 championship.

JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen commented, "We've had the good fortune to add some really promising young talents to our driver roster this summer, and Robert made a big statement with his impressive lap times on the challenging Sonoma Raceway circuit. Robert also showed amazing race craft passing for the lead three times before ultimately settling for his 2nd place podium result.."

Born and raised in suburban San Antonio, Texas, 15-year old Robert Arana join the Formula Pro USA grid for round four of the 2025 championship once again piloting the # 3 JENSEN F4 race car at Sonoma Raceway near San Francisco, California on the weekend September 12-14.

JENSEN F4 Championship Team enjoyed a very successful weekend at the Sonoma Raceway circuit in March 2025, scoring two race wins in Round One of the 2025 season.

Formula 4 is the entry level junior open-wheel race category on the FIA development ladder system intended to identify and train future drivers to compete in the Formula One World Championship. JENSEN owns four Ligier JS F4 pro spec race cars, and there are multiple championships across the USA that are terrific for new drivers to learn how to optimize their driving techniques and to gain competition experience.

Formula PRO USA Championship is one such championship, where the 2025 season will feature six race weekends at iconic California circuits including Laguna Seca and Sonoma Raceway.

JENSEN engineering intern Eli Cossell also made his competition debut at the Sonoma event after attending several JENSEN F4 Racing Camps. Eli attends the University of Kentucky where he is completing a dual major studying mechanical and aerospace engineering.
