Robert Arana Joins JENSEN Driver Development

ROBERT ARANA SET TO MAKE F4 RACING DEBUT AFTER IMPRESSIVE TESTING PERFORMANCES

 

Robert Arana has been testing with the JENSEN F4 Championship Team for four months; setting increasingly competitive lap times at circuits located in California and Texas. With more test days scheduled, Robert's young driver development program will take the next step as he will be making his first car racing competitions.

, Born and raised in suburban San Antonio, Texas, 15-year old Robert Arana will make his competition debut racing one of the JENSEN team's Ligier F4 race cars at Sonoma Raceway near San Francisco, California in round four of the 2025 Formula Pro USA Championship Series.

JENSEN F4 Championship Team enjoyed a very successful weekend at the Sonoma Raceway circuit in March 2025, scoring two race wins in Round One of the 2025 season.

JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen commented, "Robert attended one of our RACING CAMP programs at the circuit located near Fort Worth Texas in the spring, and has since shown impressive development setting very competitive lap times all the while almost never making any mistakes."

Jensen continued, "There's so much to learn in order for young drivers to be able to win races and championships at the F4 and Formula Regional competition levels. So to have a realistic chance of winning and ultimately having racing careers, it is imperative for young drivers to be part of professionally run development programs."

Formula 4 is the entry level junior open-wheel race category on the FIA development ladder system intended to identify and train future drivers to compete in the Formula One World Championship. JENSEN owns four Ligier JS F4 pro spec race cars, and there are multiple championships across the USA that are terrific for new drivers to learn how to optimize their driving techniques and to gain competition experience.

Formula PRO USA Championship is one such championship, where the 2025 season will feature six race weekends at iconic California circuits including Laguna Seca and Sonoma Raceway. Robert's racing debut at the Sonoma Raceway circuit will take place on the September 12-14, 2025 weekend.
