ROBERT ARANA SCORES FIRST RACE WIN COMPETING IN THE F4 CALIFORNIA SERIES AT SONOMA RACEWAY

 

15 year old JENSEN driver Robert Arana scored an impressive first car racing victory in round seven of the 2025 Formula PRO USA Championship at Sonoma Raceway. His 18 year old teammate Aiden Zelaya joined him on the podium scoring his second 2nd place finish of the 2025 season.

JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen commented, "As a team, we've added some promising new kids to young driver development programs this season. It is very rewarding to convert all the hard work from practice days into trophies on race days. The whole point of our program is to facilitate opportunities for talented kids to take their shot at becoming professional race car drivers, and this past weekend was a big step forward for both Robert and Aiden."

Video above is riding with Robert Arana driving the #3 JENSEN F4 race car in race two of the Sonoma Raceway event. Just ahead in the video is Aiden Zelaya driving the #7 JENSEN F4 race car, as the two kids battle with Yashom Kapoor and Ridgeley Welsh from the World Speed team. All four kids put on an amazing performance dicing nose to tail throughout the 30 minute long Sunday race with passes almost every lap.

Ana Palestro also enjoyed her career best race weekend driving the #2 JENSEN race car. Ana made another big performance step consistently setting 1:45 second lap times in the Sunday race finale, en route to a 5th place finish.

October will be a very busy month for the JENSEN team and it's core group of young drivers under development. In early October, 13 year old Nico Balkissoon will make his second F4 test at the Austin F1 track Circuit of the Americas, where he will be joined by Robert Arana.

Soon after, 12 year old British driver Henry King will test again at Buttonwillow Raceway near Los Angeles California in advance of making his first race weekend at Sebring Raceway located in central Florida driving the #1 JENSEN F4 car in the new South East Formula Series.

16 year old Andrew Davis will then join the team for a week long program including making his race car competition debut driving the #3 JENSEN F4 race car in round five of the 2025 Formula PRO USA Championship at Thunderhill Raceway near Sacramento, California.

Formula 4 is the entry level junior open-wheel race category on the FIA development ladder system intended to identify and train future drivers to compete in the Formula One World Championship. JENSEN owns four Ligier JS F4 pro spec race cars, and there are multiple championships across the USA that are terrific for new drivers to learn how to optimize their driving techniques and to gain competition experience.

Formula PRO USA Championship is one such championship, where the 2025 season will feature six race weekends at iconic California circuits including Laguna Seca and Sonoma Raceway.
