RACE WINNING BRITISH KARTER HENRY KING JOINS JENSEN TO COMPETE IN SOUTH EAST FORMULA SERIES

Henry King is an exciting young race car driver prospect as evidenced by his impressive karting accomplishments. In mid-October, Henry will take the next step in his driver development program as he makes his race car competition debut at Sebring Raceway near Orlando Florida driving the #1 JENSEN F4 race car.

Henry is from England, but now lives full-time in Dubai. Henry began his race car driver development program in July 2025 by participating in a customized JENSEN Racing Camp program where he drove the F4 race car at circuits located near Dallas Texas and Los Angeles California.

One of the best strategies for young drivers to ultimately achieve their dream of racing in the Formula One World Championship is to start their race car driver development as young as possible. There's so much to learn, and starting early is one of the most critical things in order to achieve exceptional results at ages 13 and 14 in order to be selected to join a funded F1 young driver development program.

Among his many karting successes, notable is Henry's victory in the IAME mini category at the Yas Marina circuit in January 2025. Henry graduated to the Junior category for the IAME UAE Summer Series competing against much older kids, where again he excelled finishing 3rd in the championship.

JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen commented, "Over the years I have enjoyed the opportunity to teach and develop many very young race car driver prospects such as Henry. It's incredible how fast kids ages 12 and 13 can develop. Henry's natural speed was immediately evident, as was his consistency over longer runs. Sebring Raceway short course is a good circuit for his first competition experience, and I am excited by the prospect of what we can achieve together long-term."

Video above is a highlight reel published by Ferrari Driver Academy about their 2014 Florida Winter Series program, which was part of the young driver development path for two current Formula One drivers Lance Stroll and Max Verstappen.

The program took place on three Florida circuits including Sebring Raceway. and Homestead Miami Speedway. The idea for the program was conceived by JENSEN team owner Eric Jensen together with long-time industry colleague Luca Baldisserri. Florida is an ideal destination for young drivers to train during winter months, with favorable weather and safe circuits.

Formula 4 is the entry level junior open-wheel race category on the FIA development ladder system intended to identify and train future drivers to compete in the Formula One World Championship. JENSEN owns four Ligier JS F4 pro spec race cars, and there are multiple championships across the USA that are terrific for new drivers to learn how to optimize their driving techniques and to gain competition experience.

South East Formula Series is one such championship, where the 2025 / 2026 winter season will feature race events at two famous Florida circuits, Sebring Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.
