March 15, 2021

JENSEN RETURNS TO F4 US CHAMPIONSHIP WITH TWO YOUNG AMERICAN DRIVERS

After a busy winter testing and racing program, Jensen Global Advisors young drivers Jake Bonilla and Oscar Haffar are set for their 2021 race seasons competing in the Formula 4 United States Championship.

19 year old San Antonio driver Jake Bonilla returns for his sophomore season with aspirations to challenge for race wins and ultimately the 2021 series title. Naturally quick, Bonilla closed his F4 US series rookie year with three Top 10 results in the seasons final five races.

During the recent official series test at Virginia International Raceway, Jake Bonilla showed impressive speed posting top 5 times in most sessions despite being on a restricted t\program as the team debuted the brand new Ligier F4 car that Jake will drive in the 2021 Formula 4 United States Championship season.

Jake’s winter testing program also included SCCA National race competitions driving one of Jensen Global Advisors Ligier F4 cars at Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas, and at Sonoma Raceway just north of San Francisco, California.

17 year old Oscar Haffar from New York City also showed impressive speed at the recent Virginia International Raceway official 2021 pre-season series test, ending with a 9th place result in the final session (out of 20 drivers).

Oscar Haffar enters his rookie season competing in the Formula 4 United States Championship with minimal prior racing experience. Following the completion of one of Jensen Global Advisors’ Racing Camp programs in Houston Texas, Oscar completed a series of private tests as well as an SCCA race competition driving the Ligier F4 car at Sebring Raceway in Florida.

Jensen team owner Eric Jensen stated, "The main objective with our program is to select drivers who we can develop to have a realistic chance to become paid professional race car drivers. Jake and Oscar are clearly both talented, and we are working flat out to position them for their chance to live their dreams for a professional career in car racing.”
