ABC TELEVISION FILMED SHORT DOCUMENTARY ON JENSEN DEVELOPMENT DRIVERS ON MIAMI RACE WEEKEND
JENSEN drivers Cash Felber and Roman Felber were filmed by ABC Television for an upcoming short documentary about the process to train young race car drivers, which will be broadcast during the week preceding the Miami Grand Prix Formula One race in early May.
Filming took place at Homestead Miami Speedway as the Felber twins were making their first races competing in the FARA Formula Championship; which is a new Florida based race series comprised of six race weekends taking place at the Miami circuit and Sebring International Raceway.
Cash Felber finished 6th in the Miami feature race with his brother Roman Felber finishing close behind in 7th position. The Felber twins backed up their solid first race results each with stellar drives in tricky rain conditions in race two, which was their first ever experience driving in the wet.
Team owner and driver coach Eric Jensen stated, "Cash and Roman are doing exceptionally well given their ages and the stage in the young driver development process. For the most part every young driver aspires to someday be able to race in Formula One, but it is a select few who have a realistic chance. One of the key paths is to start young in order to be invited to join young driver development programs of Formula One teams. Cash and Roman are well on their way to seizing that opportunity, so I thought that ABC Television might be interested to share with their audience how that process unfolds in real life."
FIA sanctioned Formula 4 Championships are the first race series steps on the Formula One World Championship young driver development ladder. However, 15 is the required minimum age for young drivers to compete in FIA sanctioned Formula 4 series. So development series such as FARA Formula provide the ideal opportunity for young drivers to gain extensive and valuable practical knowledge in advance of their rookie FIA F4 championship seasons.
FARA Formula 2024 championship kicked off at Homestead Miami Speedway in early February with Cash and Roman Felber each racing their Miami Blue JENSEN F4 race cars together with their team-mate Jake Pollack from San Antonio Texas.
