JEREMIAH THOMAS IMPRESSIVELY FAST IN HIS F4 RACE CAR DRIVING DEBUT ATTENDING A JENSEN RACING CAMP

Jeremiah Thomas made a big impression in his car racing debut attending one of the JENSEN young driver development RACING CAMP programs. The 15 year old kart racer was consistently quick driving the Ligier F4 race car at the MSR Cresson circuit located near Fort Worth, Texas.

With his ever present smile, Jeremiah was quickly on pace setting 1:15 lap times all the while never putting a wheel wrong. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Jeremiah has achieved solid results competing in Stars Championship Series national karting events so it was no surprise how quickly he adapted to driving the faster and heavier race cars.

JENSEN team owner and driver coach Eric Jensen said, "Jeremiah is a naturally gifted race car driver, but what impressed me the most was his work ethic. He is keen to learn and apply the science of vehicle dynamics in order to become a more proficient race car driver. There's so much science for new drivers to learn about how to optimize their driver inputs ( braking / throttle / steering / gearing ) and it was impressive to see how quickly Jeremiah was able to apply what we discussed in the classroom between each track session."

Key to making fast laps is learning the order and magnitude in order to optimize the four driving inputs for various corner types. Throughout the two day program, Jeremiah learned about the optimal grip of the Hankook F4 racing tires, and in turn what are the optimal driver input applications in order to utilize maximum grip.

Jeremiah is scheduled to make a follow-up test at Buttonwillow Raceway located near Los Angeles in September. Plan is for Jeremiah to make his competition debut racing one of the JENSEN team's Ligier F4 race cars in the 2025 season finale of the Formula Pro USA Western Championship, which will also take place at Buttonwillow Raceway.
