Driver Management
Luca created the Ferrari Driver Academy driver development program for the Ferrari F1 team in 2010. The plan was to transition Ferrari to developing future F1 team drivers in-house, where career management from an early stage would lead to far more skilled young candidates.
Lance Stroll was the first driver signed to the Ferrari Driver Academy under a 10-year development deal, and it is mission accomplished with Lance driving for the famous Williams team in the 2017 F1 championship.
While at Ferrari, Luca also was a consultant to the Prema Junior Development team where he oversaw structures to make Prema the dominant team in the GP2 and Euro F3 categories. Luca left Ferrari in January 2016 to work directly for Lance Stroll and travels to every F1 race actively involved with the Williams F1 team overseeing Lance' 2017 F1 program.
On a case by case basis, Luca will add young drivers to his management roster.
About
Luca lives in Fiorano, Italy, albeit traveling extensively to every F1 race on the 2017 calendar. He has one daughter, and one lonely sailboat docked on the east coast of Italy.
