Felber Twins Make F4 Race Debut at Austin F1 Circuit

November 14,, 2023

CASH AND ROMAN FELBER MADE THEIR RACE DEBUT COMPETING IN THE F4 US DEVELOPMENT SERIES

13 year old twins Cash Felber and Roman Felber do most things together in life, and for the past year both have focused on learning the art of being fast.

Since January 2023, Cash and Roman have been driving F4 US Championship Ligier race cars at circuits across North America with a view to learning and perfecting the necessary skills as they aspire to become professional race car drivers. Part of a customized JENSEN young driver development program, Cash and Roman made their car racing debut competing in the F4 US Development Series event at the 2023 season finale at Circuit of the Americas.; racing on the same circuit where Formula One drivers competed just two weeks before.

F4 US Championship is the first American step on the Formula One World Championship young driver development ladder. 15 is the minimum age to compete in the F4 US Championship, so the F4 US Development Series is intended to provide younger drivers including the 13 year old Felber twins with an opportunity to gain racing experience in advance of their rookie seasons competing in the F4 US Championship,

Recently it was announced that the 2024 development series will be branded as Ligier JS F4 Championship. 2024 schedule will feature five race weekends at famous road course circuits across North America starting at New Orleans in April, followed by races at Road America, Mid-Ohio, and New Jersey. The championship will conclude at Virginia International Raceway in October, where the 2024 Ligier JS F4 Series Champion will be awarded a prize package to graduate to racing in the 2025 F4 US Championship.

Cash Felber ( photo above ) scored victory in both races at the Austin F1 circuit, with his brother Roman Felber finishing second in both races. Beyond being proficient on track, Felber twins’ achievement is further bolstered by sponsorship from a suite of brands including: Primal Life Organics, IVI Smile, Life Force Water, Snooze Mattress, and ProSim.

Team owner and driver coach Eric Jensen stated, "The Austin race weekend was an ideal opportunity to provide the Felber twins with their first F4 race weekend. The boys started driving at one of our Racing Camp programs in January, and since they have been testing almost every month at circuits across the country."

Jensen continued, "Being safe is always our main priority when developing young drivers, especially when the kids are very young as are the 13 year old Felber twins. They have both steadily improved their pace and have consistently shown their ability to make good decisions while running with other race cars on track. So it was with great pride to see both kids excel on track in their debut race weekend, and a just reward to see them both enjoy their first podium experiences together."

Felber twins will return to their Ligier F4 cockpits in December with more testing at Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas, followed by additional race competitions at Homestead Miami Speedway in January. Check for news soon of their full-time competition in the F4 US Championship's new Ligier JS F4 development series as the Felber twins young driver development program kicks into high gear for the 2024 racing season.
